try to shoot each other. >> this weekend ended in a nightmare. just after 10:00, witnesses said they sought two groups of teenagers going at it. one group crossed the street and it shot three times that of the other. >> they were all little kids. they're all 13 or 14. >> one did get shot. a 17-year-old african-american male. he was shot in the head. >> i don't think that he will make it. >> witnesses saw people jumping over cars and climbing over each other. when the crowd dispersed, the boy was on the ground. >> there was a big group of people and then there was just someone on the ground. >> someone had to see something.

>> police have yet to make any arrests and there is no information on this case. police are investigating an attack in broad daylight. they say that a woman was walking home when a suspect sexually assaulting her. at about 9:30 this morning, police found her. so far, there is no information on the suspect. a crime scene investigator took the stand in the jayna murray murder truck -- a crimes investigator took the stand in the lululemon murder trial. >> there was some back and forth between the prosecution and the defense about the relevance of jayna murray's mother testified.

the judge said that he would allow her to testify. she is expected to do so in a little while. a montgomery county police officer who is a crime scene investigator with the department and a shoe print identification expert took the stand. there was two different types of shoe print at the crime scene. there was a significant amount of blood on one shoe. the court was told that the two different types of impressions made by the two issues when not made at the same time as the crime scene. there were no impressions found at the crime scene matching issues jayna murray -- the shoes jayna murray was wearing.

we expect that the prosecution will play a taped interview between police and brittany norwood. brittany norwood is accused of beating and killing her co- worker back in march. it was expected that this trial would last 8-10 days. we are in the second week. we could hear closing arguments as soon as tomorrow. a woman is dead after an accident. police tell us that the victim was crossing when a car struck her. she was not in the crosswalk at the time. she died at the hospital. the driver who hit her state at the scene. people up and down the east coast are still dealing with the affect of the record-setting storm. more than 1 million people are still without power in

is looking into whether this violated the passenger bill of rights. the firestorm around herman cain continues to storm. he said that he never sexually harassed anyone but he now confesses there was settlement with his employees. conservatives are rallying around him. >> herman cain is in full damage control mode trying to get a handle on the story that he might have changed words on his statement. when he was president of the national restaurant association, at least two female employees complained about inappropriate behavior. >> i have never sexually harassed anyone and those accusations are totally false. >> as the day went on, he later acknowledged that in fact he was accused of harassment but denied

democrats and republicans are blasting the controversial advertisement. this is a fire that was sent out by the loudon county republican committee and it picks president obama with a bullet hole in his head. many said it was supposed to be just an innocent way to stir up support for a candidate ahead of the halloween holiday but many consider this amusing. >> that's terrible. that is the president of the united states. that is disrespectful and not even necessary. >> last night, the chair of the committee issued a statement saying "some individuals have interpreted images of barack obama that appeared within the e-mail as intending to portray the president as the victim of a violent crime. nothing could be further from the truth and we sincerely apologize." water crews are making

east of 95 and early this morning. other than that, no big impact on our area or new england. we went through the cold rain and heavy snow. high-pressure is settling. there will be a lot of sunshine. all the way through thursday. on friday, this system will go to the south. that could give us a few isolated showers on friday morning. generally, it looks dry through the extended forecast. i don't have much confidence in that morning rain. this will get to level and hold there. dropping down into the 30's by early tomorrow morning. near 60 all the way through the weekend. a quick reminder there in our seven-day. >> thank you for that reminder.
